Before You Begin
- Make sure you follow local building and plumbing codes.

Install the Mounting Stud
- Disconnect the hose from the hose connector.
- Attach the mounting stud to the threaded hole on the faucet body. It would be best if the mounting stud extended slightly beyond the threaded hole in the body.
Install the Escutcheon (Optional)
NOTE: Do not use plumber’s putty on marble surfaces. Use the self-adhesive gaskets provided. Apply the gaskets (adhesive side down) over the outside holes after removing the paper backing.
For 1-hole Installations:
- The escutcheon, spacer, and O-ring are not required. Place the rubber washer over the tubing and hose.
- Connect the hose and tubing to the faucet.
For 3–hole Installations:
- To the underside of the escutcheon, apply a ring of plumbers putty according to instructions provided by the putty manufacturer.
- Place the O-ring into the groove in the spacer.
- Over the faucet tubing and hose, slide the rubber washer, escutcheon, and spacer (O-ring side down).
- Align the faucet escutcheon with the center hole and insert the faucet hose and tubing.
- Remove any excess putty from the escutcheon by pressing down.
Faucet Installation
- On the mounting stud, position the bracket, washer, and nut.
- Make sure the faucet and escutcheon are aligned properly on the sink.
- Ensure that the faucet is securely attached to the sink. If possible, use a socket wrench with a 7/16″ deep socket.
NOTE: A weight must be installed to act as a pull stop on the hose and to prevent it from kinking.
- To make the system work optimally, attach the weight to the hose 23″ (58.4cm) from the loose end of the hose. You can move the weight to adjust the hose’s pull-out length.
- Carefully tighten the weight screws. Do not overtighten.
- Reconnect the hose to the hose connector.

CAUTION: Risk of restricted waterflow and product damage. Be careful when connecting the hoses to avoid kinking or twisting. Make sure the hoses are not taut when connected.

- Lift the indexer and top disk just enough to allow rotation and to clear the valve splines.
NOTE: Each notch is equivalent to an average temperature change of 9.5°F (5.3°C).
- In order to reach the desired temperature, turn the indexer, top disc, and valve stem counterclockwise.
- Ensure that the top disc snaps fully into the indexer after installing the indexer and top disc to the valve.
- Stop the flow of water by lowering the valve stem. Reinstall the bonnet, handle, and setscrew.
